My AWS Cloud Practitioner score stays low despite study
Apex
Spent three evenings this week reviewing the same AWS material and still scoring around 55 percent on every mock test. My retention just does not seem to stick no matter how carefully I read. Has anyone else hit this wall and found a way through it?

Because of spending too much time rereading passively, you end up never actually testing recall under pressure. Reading notes for hours feels productive but the score stays flat because recognition and retrieval are completely different skills. Switching to active testing even for twenty minutes a day tends to shift things faster than another full review session.

Ensuring your practice materials are up-to-date with the exam syllabus is more important than the number of hours you spend preparing. AWS recently updated the exam content, and many free online resources are still outdated.
