Need furniture for the new garden patio
Raddish
I've finally done it, got a proper patio area sorted in the back garden for a lounge zone. It was all lawn before and the missus was protective of every blade of grass, but I managed to negotiate a chunk of territory where I can actually enjoy those sunny days we get, what, twice a year if we're lucky in the UK? Now I need to get some furniture out there, a nice table and some comfy sofas or settees. Thing is, I don't want something that'll fall apart after one season, need it to last properly. Where would you lot recommend having a look for decent stuff?

Congratulations on winning the garden battle, that's half the work done right there. Once you've got the space claimed, the furniture choice becomes the fun part, though British weather does make you think twice about what you're buying. Cheap garden furniture looks alright for about three months, then the rain gets in, the wood warps, the cushions go mouldy, and you're back to square one next spring. You want something that can handle our damp climate and still look decent when the sun actually bothers to show up. Rattan's usually a solid shout, holds up well and doesn't rot like wooden stuff does when it gets soaked through every other week.

Garden furniture that lasts more than a couple seasons is worth paying for upfront, saves you replacing it every year. British weather's brutal on anything you leave outside, so you need materials that won't give up after the first winter. Have a look at some lounge sofa sets here https://rengard.co.uk/product-category/outdoor-sofa-sets/lounge-sofa-sets/ . They've got weather-resistant options that'll handle the rain and still be comfortable when you finally get a sunny afternoon. Proper cushions included, so you can actually relax out there instead of perching on something hard pretending it's enjoyable.
